These guys have speed traps on 300 and probably base their income off of such. Not to mention the speed limit changes from 65 mph to 45 in under a mile. If you do not catch it, they do not care... even though there is nothing on that little wasted strip of land.

I was recently stop on their speed trap on US 300 heading north, I was in the process of slowing down but since the speed limit goes from 65 to 45 they issued a ticket doing 65 in a 45. The speed trap did not bother me as much as the office giving the ticket. He looked more like a biker than a police officer with all his Tattoos. I would expect Law Enforcement Office to project more of a professional image than looking like a biker. I guess standards for officers are lower in small towns.
